Hi. I'm Taylor. I wrote this in the third person on a couch.
Taylor Orci is a writer-comedian living in Los Angeles. As a journalist she's worked for the likes of NPR, KCRW and WNYC. While at NPR she had her own storytelling podcast with alt.npr called, "Club Awesome: A Show That's About Any Song That's Meant Anything to Anyone, Ever." Orci became a production assistant at KCRW her sophomore year of college and was an Associate Producer/Director at NPR while concurrently attending UCLA majoring in International Development Studies and Art History.
Orci has contributed to the likes of New York Magazine, The Atlantic, IFC, and Slate.com. She's performed in the CBS Diversity Showcase, Sketchfest Seattle, the LA Comedy Festival and the Women in Comedy Festival.
She lives with a very real fear of the sea.
